From our Chief Executive Officer

Greetings, Team Invicta! I hope you all enjoyed the recent Independence Day festivities in your respective communities.

Recently, we had the opportunity to develop a brief impact overview video chronicling the journey of our Company to date. If you have not yet viewed the video, please take a few moments to do so.

Our Passion: Challenge what has always been. For Invicta, this means that we are continuously evaluating, tweaking and scaling our processes, technology and talent to ensure that we are in the forefront of our field. We know that success begins on the “inside” of an organization. Invicta’s executive team is committed to leading an organization that effectively demonstrates our Guiding Principles every single day. In the video story, we highlighted how our methodology and approach accelerates the life cycle of research, product development, and implementation. We’ve grown from 1 client in 1 state to more than 60 facilities in 18 states across the country, serving a diverse and growing client base. Our RCM team continues to service and support our overall client innovation experience, as Summer Dobbs’ article in this issue indicates. Fasten your seat belts. The rest of this year and beyond will be an exhilarating adventure!

As we head into the “dog days” of summer, we’re shipping a few items out this month to all employees that you can use and enjoy for your leisure time and volunteer activities. Enjoy with our thanks for your hard work and dedication!

From our Chief Client Officer

Happy Summertime, Colleagues! I’m still catching my breath after attending a series of Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) conferences around the Country. As the world reopens, these in-person connections foster our client relations efforts. In Alabama, I was honored to swear in Matt James as the new Chapter President during the Alabama Chapter’s Annual Institute. At the Florida conference, we raised $12,000 for a local recovery and rehab facility, Stay in Step, when we weren’t learning and networking.

Many thanks to all who participated in the 14th Annual “Unofficial” 5K for the South Carolina Chapter. The 5K was once again a success and was followed by my “Beachside Chat” interview with Michael Allen, HFMA’s immediate past National Chair.

Invicta continues to bring new clients to the table, giving our internal teams the opportunity to stretch and expand skills. And our commitment to community service is not only core to our guiding principles: It separates Invicta from the competition. I encourage you to take advantage of our Volunteer Time Off program, once eligible, and to participate in the Invicta team-building community service opportunities that are available to you this summer. And, please share your photos in InvictaCHAT and with Jen and me!

An update from our Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management

Greetings from the RCM Team! As you’ve seen in your interactions across the Company and through the growing content on our website, Invicta’s “relentless innovation” in solutions and services continues to rapidly expand.

What can we do for clients now that we weren’t doing this time last year? Cash Posting, Retro Authorizations, and Real-Time Claim Status Checks are just a few enhancements. You’ll see a News article on the website soon that illuminates the immense value of our Claim Status capabilities. The image shown here is one case example of how Invicta’s superior solution dramatically changed the results for one client.

Similarly, our Health Information Management (HIM), Denial Management and Insurance Recovery expertise has grown as we added seasoned experts to the RCM team. We have the right people in the right seats. And, we will continue to improve and expand our capabilities to be better and faster than our competitors. I could not be more proud of our growing team. We‘re doing things here that other companies wish they could do.

Summer Dobbs

From our Vice President of Human Resources

Happy Summer! We’ve had a busy summer so far, and we look forward to connecting with everyone during our next training sessions on August 12th and/or 13th. As we look to our future professional growth, our focus for this training will be on Finding Our Purpose. We’ll be in the Zoom meeting room 15 minutes early to have a little social time before the training. You are encouraged to join us for some casual conversation.

We are happy to announce that our Financial Literacy program is available through ADP Workforce Now Learning by searching for “Financial Literacy.” All modules are uploaded on the platform and are available to work through at your own pace. The participant guides and presentations are easy to follow and work through step by step as you like.

From our Chief Brand Officer

As the global news reports echo daily, companies big and small have seen impacts from information technology, data breach and cyber security infiltration. With thanks to Derek Shaw and David Daugherty, Invicta has a dedicated Compliance Team that governs the Company’s extensive IT Security Policy and processes for problem resolution, IT escalation protocols, and a tightly locked up EOS system. We’ve also recently enhanced our in-house anti-virus and security monitoring system.

That said, protecting the brand is part of our collective role as Invicta brand ambassadors. Please remain vigilant in your digital work, show care when viewing emails and links that do not originate from official Invicta email accounts, and check with IT if something makes you nervous.
