Collaboration is key to revenue cycle success

FROM THE DESK OF JUDE CROWELL, CHIEF CLIENT OFFICER.

At Invicta Health Solutions, our culture is based on an active service model that is directed to serve our employees, our healthcare system clients and their patients, and our communities around the nation. Early in the Company’s inception, the executive team defined six Guiding Principles that are core to the very foundation of our Brand: Integrity, Innovation, Collaboration, Value, Respect, and Trust. I would like to focus on Collaboration in this brief missive.

We all know that words are cheap unless they are supported with actions. There has never been a greater time than right NOW to demonstrate principles and values in our industry and in the business community. Our leadership team knows that to remain an industry leader delivering revolutionary innovative revenue cycle management solutions in the healthcare market, we must abide by the most basic – and often most difficult to deliver – rule:

Create, transform, and help in ways that
“Leave the world a better place than you found it”

We believe that collaboration means:

  1. We are in this together, and we are better together
  2. No one person is more valuable than the sum of the parts
  3. We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our customers, team members, and partners to achieve all objectives

Consequently, our Company as a whole and our leadership routinely participate and/or lead collaborative efforts where multiple businesses – some of which can be competitive with one another – came together to accomplish something worthwhile. Below are two recent examples.

The Healthcare Financial Management Association’s Region Five presented its Southeastern Summit conference in Nashville the first week of April. Invicta identified the investment we would make to support the conference and to be collaborative with industry representatives. We invested in a sponsorship along with PWC, Capio, and Nemadji that helped to deliver $10,000 and a lot of volunteers for a single afternoon service project to Sleep in Heavenly Peace. SHP is a non-profit organization with local chapters throughout the United States that activate on a simple yet powerful mission, “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town.”

Second, Invicta celebrated American Public Health Association’s “National Public Health Week” this year with the launch of an employee wellness initiative. As our CEO Donny Zamora stated in an internal announcement, “Amid unprecedented healthcare industry worker burnout, our team members have elevated performance to ensure that our customers have had no disruption in service. To this end, Invicta leadership recently took an opportunity to reimagine and reinforce critical aspects of workforce management, including a focus on the daily stress employees face. Invicta has underwritten 100% of the costs associated for our employees to maintain memberships at either AnyTime Fitness or Massage Envy.”

Invicta is not a cookie cutter Brand. We don’t support change for the sake of change, but we relentlessly “challenge what has always been.” Effective collaboration brings wins for our employees, clients, client patients, vendors, and partners: It is the intersection of innovation and resource.
