An update from our Chief Client Officer

What a year we’ve had together! I would like to thank every individual who has taken time this year to go the extra mile for a client, patient, partner, or colleague. We have satisfied clients, and we are poised for success in 2023. In particular, I want to acknowledge every person who has volunteered their own personal time and/or contributed to a worthwhile charitable or community organization. If you haven’t read Donny Zamora’s recent article on why our leadership team stresses the importance of corporate citizenship, please take time to read it now here:
https://www.invictahs.com/the-case-for-volunteerism-in-employee-engagement-at-invicta/

This year, our employees across the nation supported so many charitable efforts, including but not limited to:

American Red Cross
Boys & Girls Clubs
George Jenkins End Hunger Initiative
Kids’ Meals
Meals on Wheels
Memorial Assistance Ministries
Sleep in Heavenly Peace
United Way
U.S. Hunger

We are grateful that our employees were not personally harmed, aside from property damage, as a result of Hurricanes Nicole and Ian that passed through Florida this year. Invicta’s Guiding Principles were distinctly evident in how everyone worked together. Colleagues affected by the storms greatly appreciated the generosity and ingenuity of their team members who stepped up to help. We are Better Together.

I wish you joy!

Jude Crowell

An update from our President

Greetings, Invictans!

We have come so far – together – this year.

I spent time on the road recently, speaking at the Inovalon Customer Congress event in Washington, followed by the Becker’s Healthcare conference and a private client event we co-hosted with PwC in Chicago. My overarching takeaway from the educational sessions? The healthcare industry is evolving at a rapid pace, and our clients and vendors will continue to approach Invicta for distinctive, tech-forward solutions to their problems. We must be ready. You can read more about these experiences here:
https://www.invictahs.com/insights-from-inovalons-customer-congress-and-beckers-healthcare-7-th-annual-meeting/

Our customized gamification platform, the RAM (Recognition and Motivation) Report, is now fully operational for all members of our Team, both on-site and remote. Kudos to our operational and tech team members who have helped to build this unique tool. As you look to 2023, I hope you will draw upon this resource to help you measure against your own efforts, as well as those in your peer groups. We have some fun reward ideas in store for the future, so stay tuned!

So, what lies ahead for Invicta in 2023? Perhaps the rollout of Healthcare’s most comprehensive and secure PHI Protection platform in history (see www.3PSecure.com for more hints). Maybe an internal reward system tied to your Gamification Reputation Points and Level. Could it be a new VR Invicta Meeting Room to facilitate collaboration among our Teams who are both onsite and offsite? Or maybe expanding real-time connection to over 1800 payers nationwide for claim status. Maybe the next big thing is in one of your heads just waiting to be heard. My door, phone, and email are always open, and IT and I try not to sleep… what is your Big Crazy Idea for Invicta??

Earlier this year, I made mention in this publication that factors like fear of the unknown, skillset misalignments, and research and development roadblocks can make change difficult for anyone. Relentless innovation, as we define it, routinely involves some discomfort. When Thomas Edison was questioned about the (according to Edison) 1,000 times he failed on the way to giving us the light bulb, Edison replied, “I didn’t fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps.” Fail forward and reap the wins.

Warm holiday wishes to you and yours,

Derek Shaw

An update from our Chief Brand Officer

Greetings, Brand Invicta Ambassadors! It has been my pleasure to connect with everyone this year through our “Brand Invicta” presentations. Invicta’s purpose – relentless innovation of revenue cycle processes for the benefit of othersinfluences our long-term business strategy, creates competitive advantage in the marketplace, inspires innovation and creativity within our virtual walls, and increases trust and loyalty. Most importantly, we want YOU to be able to make connections between our strategic decisions and what you know to be true about the Company. Thank you for your candid questions – keep them coming!

Reminder: To keep abreast of Invicta happenings, check out the Teams’ InvictaCHAT conversations. To access InvictaCHAT, in the Teams left side menu, select the 3 dots below “Files.” From the pop-up app suggestion box, select “Viva Engage.” From the Viva Engage landing page, select the “InvictaCHAT” graphic on the right side of the screen. Read and support others’ posts, make your own posts, and attach your photos. As a reminder, the Teams “MyInvicta” channel has many resources for you, especially the “Welcome to Invicta” folder. Shoutout to Brittani Bradwell, who does a great job of inspiring at the beginning of every month.

I wish you all the happiest of Season’s Greetings and a rockin’ 2023!
