Bits & Bytes – Issue #8 – April 2021

From our Chief Executive Officer

Welcome to the new Bits & Bytes publication! We hope you enjoy the new layout. April is a busy month. We celebrate National Financial Literacy Month, National Diversity Month, Easter (for some), National Autism Month and my favorite, National High Five Day, today.

Invicta closed the first quarter of 2021 with our strongest results as a company so far. These results are made possible through the dedication and performance of our entire workforce. Additionally, I’m delighted that we have launched our year-long Financial Literacy program for all employees, as an optional part of the InvictaLEARN training and development offerings. Just as we seek to help patients and their families access viable resources for healthcare as part of our corporate mission, we want to help our employees access viable resources to effectively manage financial decision-making. I hope you plan to participate in the monthly optional trainings and will share what you learn with your family as well. Enjoy your “breakfast on Invicta” perk as part of our encouragement this month.

Finally, please accept my heartfelt “high five” today for your efforts to grow and build our brand.

Donny Zamora

From our Vice Presidents of Operations

We are proud to have closed out the month of March with another record-breaking Operational performance. As we move our Operational Action Plans forward for all facilities, we are already seeing positive results. The InvictaLEARN Critical Thinking training conducted in March offers both a mindset as well as tactical application of tools that help to analyze and unpack consequences. Please reach out to either of us or to Kim for guidance as you use and refine your own critical thinking skills in the months ahead.

The Orlando Health South Seminole team was invited to join the hospital’s Patient Access Week festivities. We provided rack cards, cupcakes and cookies. Pictured in the photo are members from OH’s Patient Access Team and Invicta’s Morris Malone, Juan Figueroa and Sharain Pittman.

Please join us in congratulating Jasmine Johnson on her recent promotion to Lead Coverage Consultant, working onsite at Orlando Health’s Bayfront Hospital. We are excited about the potential Jasmine will bring to Invicta in her new position. We know that Jasmine’s knowledge, skills, and experience will be a tremendous asset to the Bayfront team reporting to Sue Dorsey.

Haileigh Thomas has demonstrated a great deal of determination and commitment to her job, her team, and the client since transferring into her new role of Onsite Coverage Consultant at Winnie Palmer Hospital. Her excellent work, ethic, great attitude, and attention to detail are an inspiration to all, resulting in a higher standard of work all around her. We praise her this month as she has proven time and again that we can count on her.  Her “whatever it takes” attitude really makes a difference.

Melissa Lochman and Tiffany Echevarria

From our Vice President of Human Resources

Happy April! We’ve got a wonderful month full of InvictaLEARN activities. April is Financial Literacy month and we are rolling out our Financial Literacy year-long program that began on April 12th. Since the modules are optional, but highly encouraged, they will be hosted from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm twice a month. Financial Literacy is near and dear to the heart of our leadership team.

We also rolled out our new ADP Workforce Now platform. Effective April 16, all employees will use the Workforce Now platform to clock in and out for Time and Attendance. This platform offers a huge library of learning courses, performance management, benefit, and enhanced human resource functions. The new functionality is going to provide better service, reliability and management for all Invicta team members.

Thank you to everyone who has completed a self-assessment for the upcoming Performance Assessments. We look forward to having our first annual conversations to provide feedback beginning the week of April 19th. We encourage you to take this opportunity to determine your goals and growth so that we can make 2021 successful and prosperous!

Please join me in welcoming our newest team members to Invicta:

From our Chief Brand Officer

At Invicta Health Solutions, we want to promote open and direct lines of communication among our employees across the U.S. We know that face-to-face (virtual or in-person) discussions and collaborations are the most effective way to foster good teamwork. That said, connection among peers who may work in different areas of the business strengthens professional development and promotes a healthy culture.

We are thrilled to introduce InvictaCHAT, via the Microsoft Yammer application software, in order to create a fluid, informal communication tool for sharing professional successes, inspiration, reading material and so forth. The InvictaCHAT Community in Yammer will be our company’s private professional social network, an online tool for internal communication and collaboration.

Our IT organization has already pushed the Yammer app download to all Invicta tablets and computers, and all employees have been invited to our InvictaCHAT community group in Yammer. Individually, you may wish to download the app to your smartphone and log-on with your Invicta credentials. Using Yammer as an internal networking tool is up to you. Like any other tool or resource, it’s only as good as the time we take to learn and use it.

To learn more, visit our User Guide HERE. You also may choose to watch a quick YouTube video from Microsoft introducing the new upgraded Yammer HERE. You’ll find the InvictaCHAT Community HERE.
